Dare #167: Use 5 emotions, the color red and at least 1 Valentine symbol to create a layout about emotion. (photos optional) I’ve been meaning to get one of these done for awhile and I finally did. Here is my layout about the ever changing moods of a preschooler.

Journaling reads: Such is the life of a “ferocious four-year old.” In a span of minutes, you can hit a wide range of emotions. It amazes me, how fast you can go from silly to angry, to hurt, to sad & then to happy. You are sort of an emotional time-bomb … at any given moment, we have no idea what you will be feeling. It keeps us on our toes as you navigate the world of human emotions and discover how to manage them. No matter what you feel, we will always be here for our little cutie.

Round 4 Entry

This is the final week of the Scrap Orchard contest. The kit is Lavender Morning and with it’s beautiful purples and greens, it was right up my alley. Again this week I had to decide which layout to post, because it was such a great kit I made more than one. Here is the one I posted to the gallery for the contest.

Since I created it, I’ve had the Commodores song stuck in my head, ‘Sail On.’ Because that layout was quite different from the main theme of the kit, I made an additional layout called Love You. This was a little more traditional, although my photo used bluebonnets instead of lavender as the flower.

So again this week I have the question, which one do you like better? Thanks to the Queen Bees at Scrap Orchard for hosting such a fabulous contest. You really should take a look at the contest gallery, there is amazing work in there!

I made it to Round 3! This is just too much fun and really pushes my scrapping skills, soooo, I am excited to keep going. So here is my latest entry for week 3 using the Far, Far Away kit. Here’s hoping I continue to move on to the next round.
