There really is something for everyone and every occasion in Remember This. You can read Kimber’s post about it here.
Dare #167: Use 5 emotions, the color red and at least 1 Valentine symbol to create a layout about emotion. (photos optional) I’ve been meaning to get one of these done for awhile and I finally did. Here is my layout about the ever changing moods of a preschooler.
Journaling reads: Such is the life of a “ferocious four-year old.” In a span of minutes, you can hit a wide range of emotions. It amazes me, how fast you can go from silly to angry, to hurt, to sad & then to happy. You are sort of an emotional time-bomb … at any given moment, we have no idea what you will be feeling. It keeps us on our toes as you navigate the world of human emotions and discover how to manage them. No matter what you feel, we will always be here for our little cutie.
This layout is what popped into head when I read the challenge. You can check out all the cool dares and get in on the action yourself at Digi Dares.

Here’s a layout made with the Winter Wonderland collection available at Scrapgirls.com. This was the first snowman the kids ever made. We just haven’t had enough snow to actually make one until this day. The kids were very excited, although I’m not sure which was the best, the snowman or the hot chocolate afterward.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on the roles that different people and times have played in my life. Maybe it’s because I began a new decade this past year, maybe not, but in any case, I have thought a lot about my “sisters.” Now, I didn’t have a sibling sister, but I sure found wonderful friends along the way. Women who have really made a difference in my life and I consider them to be my sisters. These are women who have taught me so much, been sounding boards, and in general have made my world and the world at large a better place … people that I am so proud, humbled and fortunate to know. As our lives have changed from young women, sometimes we have struggled to stay in touch as families and careers pull us in different directions. But this doesn’t mean that their impact was any less significant. I decided it was time to celebrate the gift of sisterhood, no matter what the bond. From laughter to tears, and everything in between, the only thing I can hope is that I have given back as much to them.
Thus, my latest collection is Sisterhood. It celebrates the unique bond between sisters, whether they are family, sorority or an extra special friend. It is a fun-loving look at such a special relationship. Sisterhood also coordinates with my last release, Year Round for an even bigger selection of things to make great pages. You can find both kits at ScrapGirls.com.
Speaking of Year Round … here is a layout created with it. You can find more layouts in my ScrapGirls gallery.

I love seeing kids all bundled up in their snow gear. Although they can’t move well and usually don’t like it very much, there is just something so cute about it. I also marvel at the thought that the kids get a kick out of shoveling. Something that us adults dread doing, but they think it’s a joy. Makes you wonder if we have the wrong attitude about the whole thing. At what point does the snow go from being a fun, joyous play toy to being a burden to be removed at any cost?
So here’s to snow, a layout using my new Winter Wonderland Collection at ScrapGirls:

It’s that time of year again … time for winter and snow, at least here in the US. As much as some may want to, you can’t avoid it, so why not celebrate it. While we haven’t gotten any yet, it’s better to be prepared, right?
That way all I have to do is take pictures when my world is blanketed in white. And the weather people say, we are going to see a lot of white this year.
My latest digital scrapbooking collection Winter Wonderland is now available at scrapgirls.com! If you hurry, you can even catch it on sale! (ends midnight tonight, Nov. 14, 09 MST)
There are glittery snow papers, lots of snowflakes and all the elements you will need to scrap your winter memories.
